Buddy Line: Product &Business Idea
Idea: Create platform to connect potential donors with those in need of blood, plasma etc. with introduction of nearby pathology labs sorted in order of relevance.
Description: My idea is to provide mobile app and portal from where registered user can request for blood donation specifying blood type, location of need through google map, specifying other details like date and time in future and tentative amount and for tentatively how long. This request can be published to a batch of relevant registered users. Relevant because user might not be eligible for donation at the moment, or user of correct blood type, nearer to location of need, in best of available age group etc. Why batch because on day one need can be fulfilled if only few donors agree, why to bother others with useless notification. Of-course if first notified batch does not agree or request is not fulfilled by first batch, next batch must be notified and it must go on till request is not closed. Once donor accepted to help, we can propose registered pathology labs as well in case their service is required.
There must be communication channel enabled between parties or users to communicate through app. There must be provision for feedback to identify malicious or not so fit users of the system. And there must be backend portal to support and monitor raised requests.
This being initial draft on idea, does not explore possible extension in terms of service or resources. For example, in COVID times, medicines and oxygen cylinder/generators also can be part of overall idea. Diabetic might have another scenarios to cover.

With above scenarios and consideration, I have discussed with MBA grads I know and it appealed to them all. I intend to make it reality and use my technical skills and experience to build this platform. That's all for now. I believe subsequent topics deserve their own blog page.
